Scott Hale

Executive Director
Scott entered healthcare about 35 years ago. He worked as a NAC for four years and received his administrator's license just after college. He then worked for a California company for about 13 years and has been with Washington Center for the past eight years.

Helen Sikov

Administrator
Helen Sikov has been an administrator in central and south Seattle since 1984. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with and serve a diverse community and be supported by competent management and non-profit ownership teams. Helen obtained her Masters degree in social work from the University of Washington in 1981 and continues to be a practicum instructor for the School of Social Work. She also works with established and grassroots community efforts to address social justice issues related to racism, ageism and health disparities. “I love to travel with my family, dance, hike, garden as well as attend local art and music programs.

Karen Aguilar

Social Services Director
As the social services director, Karen enjoys the people she works with each day. She's been at Washington Center for six years and likes to watch sports, listen to music and do crossword puzzles. She's a graduate of Washington State University.

Mike Steiner

Mike Steiner

Director of Admissions
Mike joined the Admissions and Marketing team in February. He has worked in health care for more than five years, most recently at the skilled nursing facility Bessie Burton Sullivan. Mike previously worked in the printing business for 23 years. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, and watching baseball. He says he likes working at Washington Care Center, because of the interaction he gets with residents, families and the community.

Anita Lin

Anita Lin

Rehab Manager
Anita has worked for Infinity Rehab and at Washington Center since 2005. She moved to the west coast from New Jersey, with 18 years working in rehabilitation. Anita has several degrees in addition to physical therapy, including her MPA in health management and finance, from New York University and a degree in traditional Chinese medicine.

Kathleen Mulron

Kathleen Mulron

Business Office Manager
Kathleen has spent 22 years in the healthcare industry, and says putting a smile on the residents' faces makes her day. She enjoys spending time with her family at sports events and various outings. She also plays racquetball and tennis and likes gardening.

Gary Engelmann

Gary Engelmann

Controller
At Washington Center since 2000, Gary likes the constant challenges in his job, saying he "never gets bored." He enjoys hiking and riding bikes with his daughter.

Lora Ray

Therapeutic Recreation Director
Lora has been at Washington Care Center since early 2006. She has a background in occupational therapy and appreciates the opportunity to bring meaningful, enjoyable and therapeutic activities to the residents. Lora has three children in college and enjoys backpacking, swimming, sailing and singing in her barbershop quartet.

Sharon's been at Washington Center for 21 years and in healthcare for 30 years. Providing for the residents and working in a team environment, are what's kept her here for so long. In her free time, Sharon enjoys gardening and spending money.

In the healthcare industry for seven years, three at Washington Center, Richard enjoys working with the residents and securing their safety. In his free time, he is a songwriter, entertainer and vocalist.

Jerry has been at Washington Center for more than five years and says the best part about working here is the residents. He enjoys building things, landscaping and making stained glass artwork.

In healthcare since 1984, Ruby joined the Washington Center staff in early 2006. She enjoys the friendly and happy staff that she says always has smiles and work as a team. In her free time, Ruby like taking long walks, reading and camping.

A dietician for nearly five years, Lori believes in using an interdisciplinary approach to resident care. She volunteered abroad for eight months. She enjoys traveling, swimming, running and spending time with her two dogs.

With 30 years in healthcare, Terri says what she likes most about working at Washington Center, is the diversity and continual change. In her free time, she enjoys photography and spending time with her six dogs.

Edzel joined Washington Care Center three months ago, as our staff development coordinator and third floor resident care manager. A licensed nurse of four years, Edzel says she takes pride in helping people and building relationships with residents. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two year-old son.

Marsha has worked in healthcare for 21 years, the last three at Washington Center. She says the best part of her job is providing a home-like environment for the residents and working with a nice staff. In her free time, Marsha enjoys reading and playing the bass guitar.
